FAQ

FIRSTGREEN machines currently use two types of lead-acid batteries and three types of lithium batteries. Both lead-acid batteries are manufactured in Europe—SILAD batteries in Hungary and HOPPECKE batteries in Germany. The lithium batteries are from Flash, an Italian manufacturer, Vanguard, an American provider for MiniZ, and Micropower, a Swedish manufacturer. Micropower batteries are only available in the USA.

All our batteries contain cells with a nominal voltage of 2V each. The machine operates at a voltage of 96V, so each battery has 48 cells (96V / 2V) with a capacity of either 240Ah or 400Ah.

The Elise, CBL, and Rockeat lines can be fitted with loader plates compliant with SAE J2513. The MiniZ can be fitted with an attachment plate compatible with FGI, Toro Dingo, or Bobcat MT52/MT55. Attachments can be driven hydraulically or fully electrically.

• For HOPPECKE batteries, we supply dedicated HOPPECKE external chargers according to battery capacity.
• For SILAD batteries, we offer external STAR or ZIVAN chargers based on the battery's capacity and required connectivity.
• Lithium batteries are always delivered with ZIVAN chargers for standard or fast charging.

• For the Elise, CBL, and Rockeat lines, the maximum water depth is 254mm.
• For the MiniZ, the maximum depth is 110mm. The machines comply with IP65 regulations and are not compromised by rain or washing.

• HOPPECKE batteries are guaranteed for 1700 charging cycles, with a maximum drop to 80% of the original capacity.
• SILAD batteries are guaranteed for 1500 cycles under the same conditions.
• Lithium batteries are guaranteed for 3000 charging cycles. All of this is subject to proper battery management.

Optimal operating temperatures range from -10 to +50 degrees Celsius (+14 to +122 degrees Fahrenheit). The machines can function in temperatures as low as -25 degrees Celsius (-13°F), making them ideal for use in high altitudes where combustion engine-powered machines may lose power.

The Elise line, CBL line, and Rockeat line are designed to function with either wheels or tracks. Rubber or steel tracks can be attached to the wheels using a spacer at the hub. The spacers must be removed when taking off the tracks. However, the Elise 700, CBL 700, and Rockeat 700 cannot be equipped with tracks due to their narrow wheels.

All our machines are designed to operate in environments such as demolition or agriculture, where dust and dirt are prevalent. The construction prevents the entry of larger objects and is equipped with drainage holes.

The machine is equipped with electromagnetic brakes, which unlock only when there is a direct input for movement. The brakes can be released manually in case there is a need for the machine to be towed.

Manufacturer-recommended oils include Shell Tellus 32, Castrol TQ, and ESSO ATF55. If needed, they can be substituted with an equivalent listed in the user manual.

The SILAD battery is a lead-acid battery that requires full charging every time. Partial charging is not allowed. In contrast, the Hoppecke battery is also lead-acid but is fitted with an air compressor that allows partial charging

Machines can be ordered with different types and capacities of lead-acid and lithium batteries. Lead-acid batteries are simple and affordable, while lithium batteries offer maintenance-free operation.

The MiniZ’s hydraulic system operates at a pressure of 150 bar, with a hydraulic flow of 25 l/min and a tank capacity of 30 l. The operator can choose between four operational hydraulic speeds.

The MiniZ is equipped with one Benevelli motor and two DANA electric motors. Two of these motors control the movement of the machine, while the other powers the hydraulic pump.
