How strong is the rubber belt for the Elise line, CBL line, and Rockeat line?
The rubber belt is designed to handle up to 500 Nm of torque, though only 150 Nm is required. It has no tensioner and requires no maintenance. Both belts can be inspected through the service holes in the battery compartment.
