Walleat has completed its first customer testing in Japan together with Gadelius, the local partner of FIRSTGREEN Industries since November 2025.
The machine was built in the Czech Republic and later presented at ConExpo in Las Vegas. From there, it continued to the FIRSTGREEN Industries warehouse in Albany before heading to Japan, where Gadelius saw a suitable customer application for this small electric loader.
After arriving at Gadelius, the first step was technical training and dealer training for the local team. The first day took place indoors and focused on the machine, controls and technical setup. On the second day, the training moved outside, where the team tested handling, loading and operation in practice.
The following three days were dedicated to customer demos and hands on customer testing in real jobsite conditions. Walleat worked with soil, crushed asphalt, gravel and other materials. FIRSTGREEN Industries first demonstrated the basic operation, but the most important part came when customers took the controller themselves.
For many of them, the question was simple: can something this small, fully electric and remotely operated really be strong enough for real work?
Walleat answered by working.
Customers tested the machine in their own way, handled different materials, tried loading applications and saw how a remotely operated loader could fit into their own operations. The response was positive, especially because the testing was based on direct experience rather than a presentation. Customers could feel the controls, test the power and see the machine working in real conditions.
For FIRSTGREEN Industries, this first customer testing in Japan represents another step in developing the partnership with Gadelius and bringing Walleat closer to local customers.
The visit also confirmed the potential of an electric compact loader in applications where compact size, electric operation and remote control can support real material handling needs.
Visitors can see Walleat at CSPI EXPO 2026, held from June 17 to 20 in Chiba, Japan, at the Gadelius booth.
