FIRSTGREEN Industries is bringing autonomous electric machines underground

At FIRSTGREEN Industries, we see electric working machines as more than a cleaner and quieter alternative to diesel. For us, an electric platform also opens the door to new control systems, higher safety and intelligent features that can change how machines operate in demanding environments.
We are currently working on the development of a Follow Me function for an electric vehicle with a skid steer chassis. The aim of the project is to assemble, optimize and test a functional prototype of an autonomous electric vehicle capable of following a specific user without the need for manual control.
The project is carried out in cooperation with the Czech Technical University in Prague and follows FIRSTGREEN’s long-term technology direction in electrification, remote control, teleoperation and intelligent assistance systems. In our internal technology roadmap, Control Autonomy & AI is already defined as one of the key strategic technology themes, together with optimization, connectivity and teleoperation.
For us, Follow Me is another proof that the future of working machines is not only about replacing the engine. It is about machines that can better adapt to the task, the environment and the operator.
