Elise 700 Assists in Soil Decontamination Affected by Benzene

Dekonta, one of the most experienced providers of environmental services and a specialist in managing the aftermath of ecological disasters, chose our electric skid steer loader Elise 700 for one of its projects.

The environmental remediation following the accident near Hustopeče nad Bečvou is one of the most demanding operations of its kind in recent years. Being part of this exceptional project gives us the opportunity to deploy our loaders in an environment where every detail matters – including the health of operators. Thanks to remote control technology, we can contribute not only to the efficiency of the cleanup, but also to the safety of those working in hazardous conditions.

The goal was to assist in the decontamination of soil affected by benzene—a hazardous chemical substance with negative impacts on both the environment and human health.

Our Technology in Practice

In an environment where maximum sensitivity is required, we deployed the Elise 700 model—a fully electric, quiet, and emission-free loader designed to handle demanding tasks in sensitive terrain.

Elise 700 delivers a power output of 3×27 kW and torque of 3×120 Nm, making it a fully capable player in its category. On top of that, it offers the benefits of electric drive: no fumes, zero fluid leaks, and significantly lower noise levels—making it an ideal choice not only for sensitive projects but also for agriculture, urban environments, or indoor operations.

The machine allows switching between powerful and normal modes, enabling operators to adapt the machine's behavior to current needs while also optimizing energy consumption.

Another great advantage in such areas is the option of remote control, either via the professional Danfoss controller or our mobile app—ideal as a quick backup solution or for specific tasks like this one.

The ability to remotely control the machine was especially important at the Hustopeče site for DEKONTA, a.s. personnel.

The loader could operate in an extremely contaminated environment without requiring the operator to be physically present in the danger zone, significantly enhancing the safety of the response team.
