FIRSTGREEN Industries is bringing autonomous electric machines underground
Together with CTU in Prague, we are developing an autonomous electric skid steer loader for underground construction, capable of navigating in environments where GPS is unavailable.

FIRSTGREEN Industries is contributing to the development of an autonomous electric skid steer loader for the mining and construction industries. The project is co-funded by the European Union and is being carried out in cooperation with CTU in Prague.
The aim of the project is to develop a machine capable of autonomous navigation in underground environments without the use of GPS. In precisely these conditions, the combination of electric drive technology, advanced sensor systems, artificial intelligence and FIRSTGREEN Industries’ experience in developing working machines can deliver a major step forward in safety, efficiency and the way work will be carried out in high-risk environments in the future.
The project builds on the long-term technological direction of FIRSTGREEN Industries. We develop fully electric machines that open up new possibilities where traditional equipment reaches its limits. In underground construction, mining and other demanding operations, performance alone is not enough. Operator safety, movement precision, clean operation and the ability to work in environments where direct human presence is risky are equally critical.
