FIRSTGREEN Industries tested a MiniZ compact electric track loader in conditions where electric equipment is often questioned first: heat, dust, dry ground and repeated material handling.
The tested MiniZ was equipped with a double lithium battery pack and an onboard charger. The setup was designed with rental use in mind, where the machine needs to be easy to operate, easy to charge and practical for everyday jobs.
The test took place in outdoor temperatures between 32 and 41 °C. The machine worked with loose construction material, a full bucket and repeated loading, pushing and carrying.
The result was clear: no observed loss in pushing, loading or material transport.
Measured energy consumption was 1.4 kWh per operating hour. At the tested energy cost, this equals approximately 0.16 €/hour, or roughly 1.5 €/day. Charging from 20% to 100% takes about 4 hours with the onboard charger.
For rental companies, this matters. A compact electric loader does not only need to fit into tight spaces. It also needs to be reliable, simple to manage and ready for repeated use.
This MiniZ setup showed that compact size, low energy use and practical charging can work together in real conditions.
