Washington businesses now have a new opportunity to reduce the upfront cost of electric equipment through WAZIP, the Washington Zero Emission Incentive Program. The program offers instant point of sale discounts on eligible zero emission vehicles and equipment, with dealer portal access opening on April 29, 2026. In Washington, the purchase process is handled through our approved dealer partner Brokk.
For eligible FIRSTGREEN Industries models, total support can reach up to $141,000 per unit, including the base voucher, charger support, and an additional plus up for qualified buyers. Current base voucher amounts are:
Elise 1200: $120,000 Rockeat 1200: $110,000 Elise 700: $99,000 CBL 700: $99,000 Rockeat 700: $99,000 Elise 900: $95,000 CBL 900: $95,000 MiniZ 400: $48,000 Eligible buyers may also receive $3,000 for EVSE charging support and, if qualified, a 15% plus up on top of the base voucher amount.
WAZIP works on a first come, first served basis, with savings applied directly at the time of purchase instead of paid back later as a rebate. That makes timing critical. Based on our experience with California CORE, we expect funding may move extremely fast once the program opens and in the most attractive categories may be gone within minutes.
